What’s in Season

As if you haven’t guessed already!

It’s Strawberry season and we’re all going Strawberry mad here at Hackett’s. Strawberries just conjure up Summer and you can use them in just about everything from purees to whole berries topping off a meringue! We love ‘em!

We’ve got some great recipes on the blog home page if you scroll through and here are a few ideas about how to serve them for a little something different.

1. Strawberries with balsamic glaze
2. Strawberries dipped in chocolate and chilled until the chocolate is crisp
3. Strawberries in melted chocolate
4. Strawberries blended with cream and blackberries for a very rich smoothy (Great if you’re on a low carb diet)
5. Diced up with meringue and cream for Eton Mess
6. Sliced into your morning cereal
7. On top of your favourite cracker spread with cream cheese
8. In a tall glass of Pimms or champagne
9. Sprinkled with sugar and served in the layers of a Victoria Sponge
10. Gobbled whole
